Bitcoin Retests $75,000: Which Two Levels Must a Rebound Reclaim?

Bitcoin has returned to the lower end of its recent trading range. The KTX BTC/USDT reading used for this November 6 analysis shows a 24-hour low of $75,221.05 and a quote of $76,068.01, down 5.22% over 24 hours. That places price near the $75,000 area, while leaving it below the levels lost in the latest decline.

The first recovery test is approximately $78,000. The more demanding one is $80,000–$80,400. Reclaiming the first would repair part of the immediate damage; holding above the second would give stronger evidence that the latest failed rebound is being reversed. Neither is a guaranteed destination.

Why the $75,000 area is a test, not a confirmed floor

The daily chart shows a retreat from highs around $86,000–$87,000, followed by lower recovery attempts. The latest rebound into the $80,000 region was quickly surrendered. A small bounce off the lows therefore has to be judged within a weakened daily structure.

The $75,000–$75,300 band is an approximate area to watch, supported by the displayed 24-hour low of $75,221.05 and nearby reactions on the chart. It is not a precise line that every trade must respect. The current daily candle’s displayed low is $75,304.12; a rolling 24-hour window and a daily candle cover different intervals.

CME Group’s support-and-resistance explanation describes how former support can become resistance and why these levels are better treated as zones. A broken area has to earn back its role as support through subsequent price behavior.

$78,000: the first repair to look for

The $78,000 area sits near recent consolidation and reactions before the renewed slide. A recovery that cannot regain it would leave buyers struggling beneath a nearby broken pivot. Returning to $77,000 alone would still leave this first test unresolved.

For this daily-chart assessment, the stronger signal would be a completed daily close above approximately $78,000, followed by a pullback that holds around the reclaimed area and produces a higher low. A four-hour close can provide earlier information, but it carries less weight than daily confirmation. Use the same timeframe when comparing successive attempts.

A brief spike above the level followed by a close back below it is weaker evidence. Watch whether trades continue to execute around the reclaimed area, rather than relying on a single large bid. KTX’s guide to reading an order book explains why displayed orders and actual execution are different things.

$80,000–$80,400: the harder test of the failed rebound

The second zone combines the $80,000 round number with the area of the latest unsuccessful rebound. The displayed 24-hour high, $80,408.75, lies just above its approximate upper boundary. This is a region where the rebound must demonstrate staying power, rather than merely touch a headline price.

A daily close above the whole zone, followed by a retest that holds, would strengthen the recovery case. If price gets above $78,000 but repeatedly fails here, the move remains a partial repair within the broader decline. Sustained recovery above the second zone would bring approximately $82,000 back into consideration as a later reference, not an assured next target.

Area What would matter
$75,000–$75,300 Whether the recent low area holds or is lost and cannot be reclaimed.
About $78,000 A completed close above the broken pivot, followed by a defended retest.
$80,000–$80,400 A close above the entire zone and evidence that the failed rebound area can become support.
About $82,000 A later reference only if the second reclaim holds.

Volume confirmation needs completed, comparable candles

The volume panel displays 389 for the latest daily bar, alongside 5-, 10- and 20-period volume averages of 844, 802 and 734. The screenshot does not establish that this candle is complete. Comparing an unfinished bar with completed days cannot establish that selling pressure has dried up.

Look instead at comparable finished periods: does activity expand during a reclaim, and does the following pullback hold without another forceful breakdown? TradingView’s volume documentation discusses using volume alongside price to assess breakout strength. Higher volume can support a reading, but cannot guarantee that a breakout will last.

The displayed 24-hour turnover of 110.07 million USDT is another measure, covering a rolling window. It should not be substituted for the daily bar. KTX’s explanation of volume and open interest also helps distinguish traded activity from outstanding derivatives positions. This spot chart alone does not establish whether short covering or fresh leveraged buying caused a move.

What would weaken the recovery case?

Repeated rejection below $78,000 would keep the immediate structure weak. A completed close below the $75,000–$75,300 watch area, followed by failure to reclaim it, would increase the risk of further downside. The chart does not justify treating every lower round number as established support, or projecting a precise next low from that break.

Execution matters during either outcome. A visible quote does not guarantee the same fill for a larger order, especially during a rapid move. KTX’s crypto liquidity guide explains how available depth and order size affect execution.

On the KTX BTC/USDT spot market, follow the daily chart alongside shorter intervals, recent trades and available order-book depth. Before considering an order, check the intended amount, order type and expected execution. The useful sequence is a reclaim, a completed close and a defended retest; a faster-moving candle does not remove the need for those checks.

Conditional BTC recovery framework: confirm closes and retests above 78000 then 80000 to 80400; rejection or a failed reclaim below the low area weakens the case

Frequently asked questions

Are these BTC levels quoted in USDT or US dollars?

The trading pair is BTC/USDT, so executable prices are in USDT per BTC. Dollar wording is a convenient market reference. USDT is a separate asset; fees and any difference from its dollar peg can affect the economic result.

Does a long lower wick prove that whales are buying?

No. A wick records the price range and subsequent recovery within that candle. It does not identify the traders involved, their motives or whether the buying will persist.

Does 110.07 million USDT of turnover mean that much new money entered Bitcoin?

No. Turnover is cumulative executed value and can include repeated trading of the same funds. It is not net capital inflow, and one market’s displayed turnover is not the total for every BTC venue.

Will a limit order at support necessarily fill?

No. A chart touching a price does not establish your queue position or available quantity. A market order prioritizes execution but can fill across several prices. Neither order type makes a support area reliable.

How long do these two reclaim levels remain useful?

They are references for the displayed structure, not permanent rules. A new range, major gap or sustained break can change which reactions matter. Update the zones using completed candles as new information arrives.
