Ethereum, Solana and Cardano have entered a TD Sequential rebound watchlist after substantial declines, but their signals are at different stages. In a thread posted on November 3 UTC—November 4 in Beijing—Ali Charts reported a buy signal for ETH and a fresh 9 plus Sequential 13 for ADA. SOL’s signal was still forming. The opportunity is therefore a conditional rebound setup, rather than confirmation that three altcoins have bottomed together.
Three charts, three different signal states
In his Ethereum post, Ali described a decline from $2,806 to $2,171 and a TD Sequential buy signal on the three-day chart. His conditional recovery path starts at $2,500, with the setup resistance trendline near $2,700 becoming relevant after a break above the first level.
The Solana post carries an extra condition. After a decline from $124.89 to $90.78, the signal was forming. Ali’s rebound scenario requires it to complete and $90 to hold as support before $105 and then the resistance trendline near $120 come into focus. Treating this as an already completed signal would remove a material part of the setup.
For Cardano, Ali cited a fall from $0.2822 to $0.1823 and a fresh 9 alongside a Sequential 13 on the three-day chart. His first recovery reference is $0.2268, followed by the setup resistance trendline near $0.2677 if buyers can break through.
| Asset | Status in the thread | Low or support reference | First recovery reference | Later resistance reference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ETH | TD buy signal reported | $2,171 chart low | $2,500 | Near $2,700 |
| SOL | Signal forming; completion required | $90 support; chart low $90.78 | $105 | Near $120 |
| ADA | Fresh 9 and Sequential 13 reported | $0.1823 chart low | $0.2268 | Near $0.2677 |
These are the analyst’s chart references and conditional scenarios, not current KTX quotes. The quoted lows are not automatically the model’s calculated DeMARK Risk Levels.
What the TD numbers actually describe
The official DeMARK Sequential documentation separates Setup from Countdown. The core Buy Setup condition involves nine consecutive closes below the close four bars earlier. This is not the same as nine red candles. Countdown is a separate phase whose qualifying bars need not be consecutive; it can therefore take longer than a simple run of candles.
The complete model also includes perfection, cancellation and risk rules. A printed number identifies a stage in a price-comparison process; it does not measure fresh capital entering the market. ADA’s 9 and 13 should not be interpreted as two independent guarantees of a rally. An earlier XRP TD Sequential case illustrates the same distinction between a technical alert and the price conditions that determine whether a rebound develops.
What would turn the alert into a stronger rebound case?
The following is a price-confirmation framework, rather than an additional prediction attributed to Ali:
- Keep the three-day horizon consistent. Verify which candle and signal the analysis refers to. A short intraday bounce does not establish a reversal on a three-day chart, and a still-forming signal needs to complete before being treated as completed.
- Watch whether the reference area holds. From a price-structure perspective, renewed weakness below ETH’s $2,171 or ADA’s $0.1823 chart low would weaken the near-term rebound thesis. SOL losing $90 would directly violate the support condition Ali stated. A brief touch and a sustained break are different observations.
- Require a reclaim and follow-through. Reaching a target briefly is different from closing above resistance and holding it on a retest. ETH’s $2,500 and ADA’s $0.2268 are useful first questions; SOL still needs both completion and support before its recovery path can be assessed.
- Separate momentum from actual demand. Look for continued participation after the initial bounce, rather than relying on a single upward candle. Spot volume can help interpret the move, but one exchange’s volume is not the whole market and a large turnover figure does not by itself establish net inflows.
For a related distinction between an oscillator turn and a price reversal, see KTX’s Stochastic RSI guide. Adding another price-derived indicator does not automatically produce independent confirmation. The more useful question is whether price starts behaving differently after the alert.
Why three rebounds would not yet establish an altcoin season
ETH, SOL and ADA are prominent assets, but they are not a complete sample of the altcoin market. Simultaneous signals can reflect a shared sell-off and similar chart conditions. Three related alerts therefore should not be counted as three independent votes for a market-wide recovery.
A broader rebound case would become more convincing if participation spread beyond these names, gains persisted after the first resistance tests, and recoveries survived renewed volatility in Bitcoin. Strength against BTC would answer a different question from a USDT price rise that simply follows Bitcoin higher. These are observations to monitor, not conditions already established by the TD thread.
The distinction also changes expectations. A relief bounce can reach a nearby resistance level while the larger downtrend remains intact. Calling that move a new bull market too early can turn a short-term hypothesis into an unplanned long-term position.
Translate the scenario into an execution plan
Track the live markets separately from the analyst’s historical chart references: ETH/USDT, SOL/USDT and ADA/USDT on KTX. Check the current spread, available depth and intended order size before considering execution. The article’s reference levels are not an instruction to buy at the displayed price.
Define what would invalidate the idea before choosing the position size. Allow for fees, price movement during execution and a possible unsuccessful retest. KTX’s liquidity and execution guide explains why a chart target and an achievable fill can differ. Combining three correlated positions can also concentrate exposure to the same market move; leverage magnifies that exposure rather than strengthening the signal.
Frequently asked questions
Does a three-day buy signal mean the price will rise within three days?
No. Three-day describes the candle interval. It does not promise a rally within that calendar window.
Did all three assets print a Sequential 13?
The thread explicitly names a fresh 9 and Sequential 13 for ADA. It reports an ETH buy signal and a still-forming SOL signal; those descriptions should not be replaced with an identical count.
Are $2,171 and $0.1823 automatic stop-loss prices?
No. They are chart lows cited in the analysis, not automatically verified DeMARK Risk Levels or a personalised stop-loss plan.
Can the chart signal differ across trading venues?
Yes. Price feeds, candle boundaries and indicator implementations can differ. Match the timeframe and settings before comparing readings.
Does heavier futures trading confirm spot buying?
Not necessarily. Futures turnover, spot volume and new capital entering the market are different measures. A turnover increase alone cannot establish durable spot demand.
