Is JEFF Coin Legit or a Scam? Liquidity, Holders and Token Risks

KTX Learn cover: a JEFF token, liquidity depth and holder relationships
Evaluate asset identity first, then the liquidity available to an actual trade.

Two findings matter for this JEFF review. The supplied mint exists, but the website referenced in its onchain metadata currently displays a different mint. A pool returned by a separate market-data query also showed far less liquidity than the headline figure in the supplied screenshot.

This is not an asset whose identity and exit depth have been sufficiently verified. Those findings alone also do not establish that a particular party committed fraud. This review separates confirmed records, reported snapshots and unresolved questions, using research conducted on October 30, 2026.

Which JEFF does this article cover?

The supplied KTX Solana market link identifies this complete mint:

EamPUCqHkeTPHm5o1J27azJt8wTxzL57PziQKwP2N8Dj

Its onchain name and symbol are both lowercase jeff. Capitalisation, an avatar and a project name do not replace the full address. Different parties can create assets with the same name.

At the time of review, the mint's IPFS metadata supplied justjeff.xyz as its website. That site's displayed contract address and trading links instead identified:

HAsTKXYvv65zM7J6Cu5o5PcZsiKMQYo5oz4WPjgqwP6k

These addresses differ. The site's statements about 50% being burned or launching directly on Raydium cannot be assigned to the Eam…N8Dj mint reviewed here. Metadata referencing a website does not independently establish that the website's project recognises the token. This article does not endorse either asset.

What do the screenshot's rally and liquidity figures show?

The supplied KTX screenshot displayed the following headline figures. It does not include a complete capture date and timezone, so these are records of the supplied view, not current quotes.

Field Screenshot display
Price $0.000333
24-hour change +808.31%
24-hour volume Approximately $3,120
Holders 190
Market capitalisation Approximately $333,050
Liquidity Approximately $291,650

A 24-hour percentage is different from the change within an individual candle on a one-minute chart. Neither figure measures an equivalent amount of net money entering the asset. A small trade in a shallow pool can move the marginal price substantially.

A separate query at 18:46:35 Shanghai time on October 30, 2026 produced a different picture. The DEX Screener exact-mint record returned several pools. A pool labelled Meteora DYN2, AKBQJZrgSqRSAPrcvn3V5dJWGMhqsZS1ZMbgy3Ac3Hjg, reported $0.66 liquidity and a price of $0.0000000003921.

The response also contained a DBC pool with another retained price and no liquidity field. A price from one pool cannot be combined with depth from another. Jupiter's query returned approximately $0.3255 liquidity under its own methodology and 190 holders. These sources have different scopes and update times; their figures should not be added, averaged or assembled into one quote.

The supported finding is that the screenshot's $291,650 does not establish equivalent sell-side depth at the later query time. The responses are provider snapshots, not an onchain audit of every JEFF pool, reserve or LP action. They do not independently establish who removed funds, why conditions changed or whether a particular order is currently impossible.

Why does liquidity not guarantee a sale at the displayed price?

A pool total commonly values both assets. It is not entirely dollars waiting for sellers. A sale needs the appropriate quote asset and an available route, while the trade itself changes the price. Market capitalisation is also a valuation using price and a supply definition, not an exit reserve.

Three checks from snapshot metrics to current pool depth to an order-size quote: holder addresses are not people, pool total is not quote-side reserves, and displayed figures do not guarantee an exit amount
A useful exit estimate belongs to a specific amount, route and point in time.

Consider a simplified constant-product example unrelated to JEFF. Each side initially has a value of $50,000. Ignoring fees, other trades and routing, selling tokens worth $10,000 at the initial marginal price would receive about $8,333 of the quote asset. The difference reflects the trade's own price impact. The pool total is not a fixed-price bid.

This is not a model or execution forecast for JEFF's pools. It illustrates the distinction between price impact and slippage: the former comes from the trade moving the pool price; the latter concerns the difference between the expected and realised execution. A fresh sell quote, fees and route address execution more directly than an isolated liquidity total.

Do 190 holders establish broad ownership?

No. A holder count is an address or account statistic, not a verified count of independent investors. One person can use several addresses. Pool, custody and other program accounts can represent different kinds of holdings.

Concentration analysis needs the owners or programs controlling large token accounts, with pool reserves, custody, locks and ordinary holdings classified separately. A large balance does not automatically identify a team wallet. Many addresses do not establish independent control.

This review did not independently establish large-holder identities, ownership concentration, LP ownership or locking arrangements. An isolated aggregator percentage is insufficient to present those questions as resolved. Revoking the ability to mint tokens and restricting a liquidity provider's ability to remove capital are separate controls.

Which token permissions were actually verified?

A finalised Solana public-RPC record checked at 18:47:54 Shanghai time on October 30, 2026 confirmed Token-2022, six decimal places and a total supply of 1 billion tokens. Both mintAuthority and freezeAuthority were null.

The metadata update and metadata-pointer authorities were also null. The complete mint-data decoding listed only the metadataPointer and tokenMetadata extensions. These are specific onchain findings rather than an inference from a safety badge.

Solana's authority documentation explains authority roles and revocation. The null records establish that no active minting or freezing authority is present. The snapshot does not establish those authorities’ history. It also does not establish business revenue, a trustworthy team or a commitment to maintain liquidity.

Total supply also does not establish freely circulating supply. Holders can still sell existing tokens, and external pools and trading routes have their own rules. Expanding two absent authorities into a claim of no remaining risk would exceed the evidence.

So is JEFF legitimate or a scam?

The evidence supports a limited, clear assessment: this mint exists and has no active minting or freezing authority, while its referenced website has an address conflict, liquidity displays differ dramatically and holder and LP control remain unresolved. These records do not support calling it a thoroughly verified safe project.

Establishing deception would require evidence tied to conduct: a party's false representations, control of relevant addresses or the movement of funds. A price collapse, low liquidity or an absent team introduction cannot independently replace that chain of evidence.

The useful sequence is to match the mint to identity claims, inspect the actual pool and sell route, and then interpret permissions and holdings. A spectacular percentage return should not fill the gaps in that evidence.

What should you inspect on KTX?

The supplied KTX JEFF onchain market identifies the Eam…N8Dj mint covered here. Compare the complete address, route, order amount, estimated proceeds and fees rather than relying on the headline price.

The KTX Onchain Trading FAQ explains that onchain limit orders submit a market order after the condition triggers. The trigger is not a guaranteed fill price, and the documented workflow has no slippage protection. An observed price and an executable price for your order are different things.

Frequently asked questions

Do the same name and cat avatar identify the same JEFF?

No. Names, symbols and images can be reused. Identify a Solana asset by its full mint address and cross-check website or social links against it. A metadata link alone does not establish affiliation.

Can liquidity risk remain with no active minting or freezing authority?

Yes. The absence of these permissions does not fund pools or prevent holders from selling. LP ownership, lock terms and quote-asset availability need separate verification.

Does a 1 billion supply mean all tokens are freely circulating?

No. The mint total does not identify pool reserves, locked holdings, custody or other account categories. Account distribution and the provider's supply definition are needed to interpret circulation.

Why can a −100% display coexist with a non-zero price?

Percentage displays can be rounded. A very small non-zero price relative to a previous reference may display as −100%. This does not prove a mathematically exact zero price or replace an order quote.

Does a small successful sale prove a large position can exit?

No. Size, depth, route and execution time affect the result. A larger order can cause more price impact, and liquidity may change between transactions.

Can the site's claim that half the supply was burned be applied here?

No. The referenced site's displayed mint differs from this article's mint. Its burn claim is not a verified fact about this asset. Even a confirmed burn for the correct asset would not resolve liquidity or holder control.

This article provides education and source review, not investment advice, a legal finding or a security certification. Onchain conditions and market data can change, and token investments can lose their entire value.
