This livestream focused on structural changes in the crypto market after a rapid pullback. Instructor Maoyao began with the higher-timeframe positioning of BTC and ETH, combining moving averages, trendlines, the Vegas channel, MACD momentum, and patterns such as the Morning Doji Star, double bottom, and Evening Star to assess whether the short-term rebound was valid, whether key support could hold, and how positions should be managed in a high-volatility market. The session then examined gold, SOL, ZEC, HYPE, and other assets, followed by answers to community questions about entries, stop-losses, position management, and trend assessment.

1. BTC: The Rebound After the Sharp Drop Still Needs Confirmation, with 80,800 as a Key Level to Watch

BTC rebounded after the previous rapid decline, but the broader structure remains in a weak recovery phase. The four-hour and daily charts show that price has found some support near the lower channel and moving averages, while a descending trendline and a dense resistance zone remain overhead. The short-term rebound therefore cannot yet be treated as a confirmed trend reversal.

The livestream specifically highlighted the area around 80,800. This zone is both a short-term battleground between buyers and sellers and an important reference for judging whether the rebound can continue. If price can reclaim the level and confirm it with a successful retest, further upside recovery may become possible. If support breaks again after the rebound, traders should remain alert to continued weakness and a secondary bottom test.

On the lower timeframes, the chart briefly displayed a Morning Doji Star, a break of the descending trendline, and a structure resembling a W bottom. Instructor Maoyao stressed that the appearance of a pattern does not mean the trade signal is complete. Traders still need to watch for a neckline breakout, supporting momentum, and a valid retest. Rather than chasing a single bullish candle, wait for structural confirmation and set the stop-loss according to the pattern’s invalidation level.

2. ETH: Retesting Support After the Rebound—Focus on Demand Rather Than Chasing Higher

ETH moved broadly in line with BTC, rebounding after the rapid decline but still facing overhead pressure from moving averages and the previous supply zone. Through multi-timeframe analysis, the livestream explained that ETH’s short-term strength depends on whether key support can hold during the pullback and whether the rebound high can be broken.

Traders who already hold positions should use structural invalidation—not repeated short-term fluctuations—as the basis for holding. Those without a position are better served by waiting for a confirmed stabilization on the retest or a second confirmation after the breakout. If price repeatedly fails at the key zone, expectations for a one-way rally should be reduced, together with leverage and position size.

3. Technical Patterns: Morning Doji Star, W Bottom, and Support–Resistance Reversals

The livestream used several examples to explain how chart patterns should be confirmed. A Morning Doji Star during a decline may indicate that bearish momentum is temporarily fading, but the pattern becomes more meaningful only when a subsequent bullish candle confirms it and breaks local resistance. A W-bottom or double-bottom structure also requires a neckline breakout; two visible lows alone are not enough to declare a reversal in advance.

After a range breakout, the former resistance level may become support. If price falls back into the range, traders should be alert to a false breakout. Trendlines, moving averages, and the Vegas channel should be used together. When several technical factors converge in one area, that level carries greater significance. When different timeframes conflict, prioritize the higher-timeframe direction and reduce short-term position size.

4. Gold: An Evening Star Forms at the High—Avoid Blindly Buying the Pullback

Gold had remained strong, but it showed clear signs of stalling and retreating near the highs. The livestream displayed an Evening Star pattern followed by a downward pullback, indicating that bullish momentum at elevated levels had weakened. Indicators on both the daily and lower timeframes also showed that the market had entered a high-volatility correction phase.

Instructor Maoyao noted that the first major pullback in a strong asset should not be treated as an automatic bottom simply because the decline is large. A more reasonable approach is to observe whether the moving averages, channel, and previous consolidation platform below can provide effective support, and then wait for a stabilization pattern. If price rebounds but cannot reclaim key resistance, the correction may continue. If support is confirmed and price resumes rising with stronger momentum, traders can then consider participating with the trend.

5. SOL: The Rebound Remains Capped by Overhead Moving Averages—Watch Key Support and Breakout Confirmation

SOL produced a short-term rebound after the pullback, but descending moving averages and trend resistance remain overhead. The current structure is closer to a weak recovery. A genuine shift in strength requires price to break and hold above the resistance band. If price merely touches resistance and falls again, the rebound may remain limited.

For risk management, use the recent low and the lower platform support as reference points. Aggressive traders should still control position size and avoid chasing near resistance. More conservative traders can wait for the full sequence of breakout, retest, and renewed upward movement.

6. ZEC and HYPE: Prioritize Risk Control in High-Volatility Assets

ZEC pulled back sharply after an earlier period of strength. The lower timeframes weakened consecutively, while momentum indicators showed increasing bearish pressure. High-volatility assets can rally quickly during an upswing, but they can retreat just as fast once the trend weakens. The livestream emphasized avoiding repeated averaging down during a decline and instead waiting for bearish momentum to fade and a bottoming structure to form.

HYPE still shows important moving-average and horizontal support on the higher timeframes, but the pullback from the highs requires demand to be reconfirmed. As long as the key structure remains intact, traders can continue watching for a rebound. If support breaks decisively, risk controls should be executed promptly. Position sizes in volatile assets such as ZEC and HYPE should be smaller than in major assets such as BTC and ETH, and the stop-loss should be defined before entry.

7. Market Analysis Method: Determine the Higher-Timeframe Direction First, Then Find Lower-Timeframe Entries

Instructor Maoyao repeatedly emphasized that multi-timeframe analysis must follow the correct order. Start with the daily and four-hour charts to identify the trend and major support and resistance, then move to the one-hour or lower timeframes for pattern confirmation. Lower-timeframe signals can refine an entry, but they should not casually override the higher-timeframe trend.

When the market is ranging, the priority is to identify the range boundaries and avoid repeatedly chasing price in the middle of the range. Once price genuinely breaks the range, use the retest to judge whether the breakout is valid. During violent volatility, reduce leverage, position size, and trading frequency rather than trying to capture every short-term move.

8. Trading Discipline: Principles Without Technique Can Be Learned; Technique Without Principles Goes No Further

The livestream presented the trading philosophy: “Principles without technique can still be learned; technique without principles goes no further.” Technical indicators and patterns are only tools. Long-term results are ultimately determined by risk awareness, execution discipline, and a consistent trading framework. Even when the directional view is correct, oversized positions, missing stop-losses, or constantly changing the plan can still lead to substantial losses during volatile conditions.

Before entering a trade, define the entry rationale, invalidation condition, stop-loss, and expected return. After the trade, review the execution process rather than focusing only on the final profit or loss. If the predefined conditions are not met, staying on the sidelines is also part of trading.

9. Livestream Summary

The crypto market is currently in a recovery phase after a sharp decline. Although BTC and ETH have rebounded, they have not fully cleared overhead resistance, so whether key support can hold remains central to the short-term outlook. BTC requires close attention around 80,800 and the descending trendline, while ETH should be assessed by demand on the pullback and whether the rebound high can be broken. SOL, ZEC, and HYPE remain highly volatile, so traders should reduce position size and wait for confirmation. Gold entered a correction after forming an Evening Star at the highs, making blind dip-buying inappropriate in the short term.

The overall strategy is to wait for confirmation at key levels, control position size, and maintain strict stop-loss discipline. Do not rush to chase before the structure is confirmed, and do not use subjective expectations to fight the trend when support fails.
