MasterAnanda's long-term Cardano forecast puts a $3.25 ADA scenario back in focus, but the immediate market test is much closer to $0.22. In an October 18 TradingView idea, the analyst argued that a bottoming recovery could develop into a larger advance. When checked on KTX at approximately 07:30 UTC on October 20, ADA/USDT was around 0.2168, down 2.17% over 24 hours.
At that reference price, $3.25 would be almost fifteen times higher. The useful question is what would have to change between those two prices: the trend must improve, buyers must absorb selling, and Cardano's activity must provide a reason for sustained ADA demand. None of those conditions follows automatically from a bullish chart.
What the $3.25 target actually represents
In the original three-day Coinbase ADA/USDT idea, MasterAnanda discusses $1 in the coming months, $2 next year and $3 or higher. The chart labels an upper projection near 3.24806 as $3.25. That is an analyst's projected destination, not a price already reached or an established timetable for delivery.
The Crypto Basic's October 19 report brought the $3.25 scenario into its headline and described the rebound from the July low toward $0.28 before a retreat toward $0.22. The distinction matters: reporting a projection does not validate its probability.
| Illustrative level | Multiple of 0.2168 | Price increase required |
|---|---|---|
| $1 | About 4.61× | About 361% |
| $2 | About 9.23× | About 823% |
| $3.25 | About 14.99× | About 1,399% |
These are arithmetic comparisons, excluding costs, rather than expected returns. The required increase is calculated as target divided by 0.2168, minus one. A large distance to a target does not make it more likely, and a long holding period does not remove the possibility of loss.
Rebuild the trend before extending the target
The analyst's $0.22 support reference was already above the KTX price when checked. That makes a reclaim and successful retest more useful than simply calling the area a floor. KTX showed a 24-hour range of 0.2148–0.2216 and approximately 1.12 million USDT in turnover. These are one venue's changing daily figures, not the entire ADA market or proof of a multi-month breakout.
Readers can follow the ADA/USDT spot market on KTX while separating intraday movement from the three-day analysis. One trade above resistance is weaker evidence than a completed candle above it, followed by a pullback that holds and a renewed advance.
A constructive sequence would include higher reaction lows, a break of the latest meaningful lower high and renewed acceptance above the reported $0.28 recovery area. Even then, intermediate supply zones remain between that recovery and $1. A falling wedge or rounded base is a hypothesis about sellers losing control; confirmation requires actual trading beyond the structure.
Volume comparisons should use matching venues and completed intervals. An unfinished three-day candle has had less time to accumulate trades. Compare completed breakout volume with recent completed candles, then see whether selling remains contained during the retest.
Demand must survive a wider-market pause
ADA can rise in dollars while losing ground to Bitcoin. For a durable leadership case, compare matched ADA and BTC returns over several weeks and track ADA/BTC. Stronger relative performance during both advancing and declining market sessions is more persuasive than a single green day.
KTX's explanation of independent strength versus a correlated rebound provides a framework for that distinction. Outperformance still does not mean insulation from market stress. A broad liquidity contraction can overwhelm a token-specific catalyst.
Spot execution also matters. Repeated buying across meaningful sizes and venues, with manageable spreads and depth that replenishes after sales, would strengthen the case. A large displayed bid can disappear before execution. Turnover alone cannot tell whether buyers are accumulating or the same inventory is changing hands repeatedly.
If derivatives positioning is assessed, use verified, synchronized funding and open-interest data. A price rise accompanied by sharply higher leverage can be more fragile than one supported by spot demand. This article does not establish that ADA currently has either positioning pattern.
Adoption must create a continuing need for ADA
A long-term valuation argument needs more than announcements. Useful evidence would include repeat paying users, sustained application activity, stablecoin settlement, economically meaningful trading and fees measured over comparable periods. Rising dollar-denominated activity should also be checked against ADA-denominated figures so that price appreciation is not mistaken for usage growth.
Cardano's native-token documentation distinguishes ADA's role in fees and rewards from other assets transferred on the network. This creates a possible demand channel, but the size of a payment is not necessarily the amount of ADA someone must buy. Stablecoin payments, existing balances and recipients selling receipts can change that relationship.
The earlier KTX article on Cardano and x402 agent payments explains why a working integration and recurring customer demand are separate milestones. For this forecast, the question is whether useful services retain users and require additional ADA balances, not merely whether a payment interface exists.
Technical progress can improve the opportunity set without ensuring a particular token price. Network fees, user retention and liquidity would need to improve together before adoption becomes strong evidence for a much higher valuation.
When the long-term case stops working
Repeated failures to recover the $0.22 area, another lower high below the recovery peak, and selling that expands on completed candles would weaken the near-term recovery thesis. A decisive break below the base supporting that thesis would require a fresh analysis rather than moving the target farther into the future.
There are also slower failures: persistent ADA/BTC weakness, application activity that fades after incentives, or increasing leverage without matching spot liquidity. None supplies an automatic trade signal by itself. Together, they would contradict the claim that a lasting demand-led advance is underway.
Eligible readers choosing to participate can register a KTX account and check the current spot quote, spread, fees and account requirements. Define an acceptable loss and review point before entering; a spot position still carries substantial downside.
The next useful update is whether ADA reclaims nearby resistance, holds the subsequent pullback and begins outperforming the wider market while measurable usage persists. Until those observations improve, $3.25 remains a conditional long-term scenario.
