What are Trial Funds?
KTX trial funds are a type of voucher that can be combined with real funds in full-margin mode for opening futures positions, increasing available capital. They can also be used to proportionally offset position losses, effectively reducing futures trading risk.
Functions:
- Can be used as margin for futures trading, reducing the use of personal funds.
- Can offset funding fees, trading fees, and opening losses, lowering actual costs.
- Can be used multiple times within the validity period until the balance is exhausted or expired.
- Non-withdrawable, but profits generated from trading with trial funds can be withdrawn.
- Fund records: Trading details can be viewed under “Assets” → “Bill.”
Note: Starting from July 28, 2025, the usage rules for trial funds may be adjusted. Please refer to official KTX announcements for details.
How to obtain trial funds? Users can acquire trial funds through the following methods:
- Limited activities: Participate in KOL-limited events.
- Welfare center tasks: Complete platform tasks to receive trial funds.

Trial Fund Expiration Situations
Validity Period
The validity of trial fund vouchers can be found in the “Welfare Center” voucher details.
After expiration, the system will reclaim trial fund balances without affecting position risk.
Transfer Reclamation
- USDT transfer: Transferring USDT out of the futures account will invalidate the trial fund balance.
- Non-USDT transfer: Transferring other cryptocurrencies (e.g., ETH) will also affect the trial fund balance.
- Example: If the trading account has 20 USDT trial funds and 0.1 USDT is transferred to a wallet, the trial fund balance is reclaimed.
Withdrawal Reclamation
Withdrawing or internally transferring any cryptocurrency will invalidate all trial fund balances in the account.
- Example: If the trading account has 5 USDT trial funds, withdrawing 0.1 ETH will result in all trial fund balances being reclaimed.
Precautions
- Non-transferable or withdrawable: Trial funds are only for futures trading and cannot be transferred, withdrawn, or used for other services.
- Prohibited misuse: Trial funds must not be used for wash trading, self-trading, or reverse positions. KTX reserves the right to take action against accounts that abuse or misuse trial funds, including but not limited to account freezing or reclaiming losses.
- Transfer risk: Transferring funds from the account may invalidate trial funds, which could lead to forced liquidation or failure to maintain open orders. Handle positions before making transfers.
- Validity limits: Trial fund vouchers and balances have specific redemption and usage periods. Redemption periods are shown in the “Voucher Center” details, and usage periods are shown in the “Futures Account” trial fund details. Failure to redeem or use within these periods will result in expiration.
